How To Make A Pattern
Pull apart the two halves of your table

Tape together four sheets of newspaper, enough to cover half of the table.

Use a few books to keep
the paper from moving.  Nowlightly run the side of any crayon around all four edges. This will trace out a thin line showing the edge of the flat part of the table’s top surface. (Lightly trace out all four sides of the table half, including the table's center crack.)
